How to Play Slave (Detailed Rules)
1. Dealing Cards
• Deal all cards evenly to every player until the deck is empty.
• The player who holds the 3♣️ (Three of Clubs) starts the game.
2. How to Play Cards
• Players must play the same number of cards with a higher rank than the previous play.
For example, if the last player played one 7♦️, you must play one card higher in rank (like 8♣️ or 9♥️).
• If you cannot play a valid card, you must “pass.”
• When all players pass, the round resets. The last player who successfully played a card starts the new round.
3. Special Cards (Depending on House Rules)
• The 2 is considered the highest card.
• Some variations allow four cards of the same rank to “clear” the pile (discard all cards on the table).
• Some groups allow straights or matching pairs to be played.
4. Ranking Order
• The first player to get rid of all cards: King
• Second player: Queen
• Last player: Slave
• In larger groups, additional roles may include Vice-Slave or Commoners.
Special Rules for the Next Round
• The Slave must give their 2 best cards to the King.
• The King gives their 2 worst cards to the Slave.
